Job Title:Professor of Nursing (Teaching and Dual Role)Location:Subharti University, Meerut Job Type:Full-TimePosition Summary: Subharti University is seeking a dynamic and experiencedProfessor of Nursing,to join our esteemed faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or graduate nursing courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to curriculum development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in education, scholarship, and service.Qualifications: Required: Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DNP) in Nursing or a closely related field is mandatory(Specialised Branch - Ph.D. in Medical Surgical Nursing / Pediatrics Nursing / Mental Health Nursing) Current, unrestricted RN license (or eligibility for licensure in [State]). Significant teaching experience in teaching of PG students. A record of scholarly publications and research contributions. Experience with curriculum development and accreditation processes. Strong communication, leadership, and mentorship skills.Preferred: Experience with online and hybrid nursing education. Active involvement in nursing organizations and professional associations. Demonstrated success in securing research grants and funding. Specialization in [specific area, e.g., critical care, public health, pediatrics, etc.].Key Responsibilities: Teach and develop courses in nursing at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Conduct and publish high-quality research in nursing and healthcare. Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development.
