Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

- Write well-designed, testable, efficient code.

- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.

- Prepare and produce releases of software components.

- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

- Work on developing and enhancing applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.

- Implement integration solutions using various message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ).

- Develop and maintain applications connecting to MySQL and various NoSQL databases.

- Participate in code reviews, build deployment strategies, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.

Requirements :

- Proven hands-on Software Development experience of 5 to 9 years in Core Java.

- Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms.

- Object-Oriented Analysis and design using common design patterns.

- Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc.)

- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases.

- Experience in the Spring Framework and Spring Boot.

- Experience in developing microservices.

- Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC).

- Experience with test-driven development.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with continuous integration.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
