We have a Senior SAP SD Consultant position (Contract - Work-from-Home) for one of our clients who is a niche US product company.

Job Description:

This role will serve as a designer and liaison providing assistance to various members of the teams by understanding the business processes and requirements at a depth sufficient to design and implement the appropriate SAP functional solutions.  

This position includes applying subject matter expertise to identify, develop, and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize cost savings and efficiencies. You will be especially knowledgeable with required SAP modules, business processes, navigation mechanics, configuration requirements and integration with other modules. This includes gathering requirements, designing, and rolling out solutions to end users.

Responsibilities:

Organize and lead workshops to gather and validate business requirements.

Performs configuration, functional documentation, testing plans, executes testing, tracks results, system documentation, and producing training materials.

Suggests to the business relevant new SAP functionality to the best extent possible, involving review of business processes and system integration challenges.

Conduct Fit/Gap assessments to determine areas of configuration that can be leveraged.

Participates in proof of concept analyses and prototypes to ensure proposed designs can meet business requirements.

Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues (Relationship Management).

Responsible to ensure systems design and development by the BSA satisfies all the needs of the end-users by developing / reviewing test plans and test scripts.

Act as evangelist for SAP benefits across the organization; promote SAP knowledge and usage throughout the organization.

Prepares detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.

Prepares project related documentation (object designs, business rules, technical information etc) during all project stages.

Design and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide functional support as necessary.

Responsible for leading, managing and delivering all assigned project and support activities on behalf of the SAP Team.

Qualifications & Experience:

10 to 12 Years Functional Configuration experience in SD required in SAP ECC

SAP configuration skills within specific SAP modules or applications - SD and LE (Shipping)

Knowledge of Integration with MM/LE and FI. Knowledge of CRM integration a plus

Should be able to map business requirements to configuration in the system.

Configuration of OTC cycle – Sales orders and its components, Pricing, Delivery, Customer master, Billing, serial number, Handling Units.

Configuration knowledge of special processes like third party processing, make to order and intercompany.

Experience in multiple SAP implementations preferred (at least 2 successful, full life cycle implementations required)

Basic understanding of ABAP programming, IDOCs, Enhancements, Interfaces and User exits.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline.

SAP certification in SD a plus.

Willing to work in shifts, as needed.
