General Summary: Under guidance fromProduction Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating,monitoring, supervising, and executing the activities of one ormore production areas. Assists in the development of departmentalpersonnel to enhance skills, improve responsiveness.

 

Duties &Responsibilities:

  • Ensuresthat departmental goals are achieved by communicating establishedobjectives.
  • Communicates overallorganizational directives. Maximizes employee participation toachieve the desired team approach.
  • Ensuresthat employees are at work on time, actively engaged in theirassigned departments and conforming to established safetyregulations.
  • Ensures that all company policiesare followed. 
  • Provides immediateperformance feedback, assisting in short-term resolution ofemergency situations (e.g., injuries), safety issues, attendanceissues, conduct, etc. 
  • Provides input toProduction Supervisor for reporting reasons onmanufacturing/production, employee performance/conduct and processflow.   
  • Ensure that time andattendance for assigned employees is accurate in data collectionsystem. 
  • Will need to be able to handlemultiple responsibilities at one time and must be able to dealeffectively with people using a facilitative approach.
  • Works with Production Supervisor to ensure thatdepartmental goals are achieved. 
  • Receives assignments in the form of objectives andestablishes goals to meet objectives.

 

 RequiredQualifications for Consideration:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s in related curriculum such asMechanical, Electrical or Electronics or ETCEngineering.
  • Preferably 4+ Years of relatedexperience.

  • Preferredproficiency in SAP as it relates to time and attendance, materialtransactions, etc.
  • High level of skill andknowledge in manufacturing/production operations with demonstratedability to function in a leadership role.
  • Willingness to work in shifts.
