Role : Senior PL/SQL Developer

Open for Multiple Locations

Job description :

Role & responsibilities :

- Should have 4+ years of hands on experience in SQL and SACM process

- Should be having expertise in SQL scripting

- Hands on in writing Packages and Functions

- Hands on in query performance tuning

- E2E understanding of SACM process

- Monitor and review the execution of the SACM process at a high-level, ensure it remains consistent with the organizations current culture and IT Service Management strategy and ensures coordination with all other IT processes

- Process objectives and metrics to measure success and obtain formal approval for the SACM process and its associated procedures.

- Should have been part of SACM configuration management plan, Identification, Config Control, reporting and auditing

- Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

- As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications.


- Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools.


- Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

- Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization.


- Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

- Knowledge of Oracle 11g and above

- Should have experience in designing/architecting databases with huge volumes & complexity.

- Excellent development skill Extensive knowledge on PLSQL programming

- Involved in writing PL/SQL Stored Procedures, Functions, Cursors, Triggers and Package.

- Written complex SQL (Sub queries and Join conditions), in PL/SQL

- Troubleshoot and debug system and/or data errors.

- Proficient knowledge in performance tuning and knowledge to work according to the Work Request and Change Request.

- Ability to understand the business requirements and Data models.

- Automated SQL-LOADER to load data from flat files.

- Vast Experience in Oracle advance SQL Programming Using Analytical functions, Sub Queries, indexes and Set Operators.

- Proficient in creation, modification and effectively use of database objects like Tables, Constraint, Sequences, Indexes, Group Functions, and Views.
