The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Following are the day-to-day work activities:

• Create message flows using WSO2 Enterprise Integrator and Micro Integrator runtime

• Write code for transformation, routing, enrichment, and orchestration in WSO2 EI and APIM by following best practices

• Understand the business logic of the existing Middleware system and create APIs in WSO2 EI

• Work closely with the Business team or Analyst to get the requirements and translate them into technical design

• Publish the developed APIs to the Developer Portal with documentation

• Create logging and monitoring setup for the APIs

• Efficiently manage deliverables by following Agile methodology

• Assist team members in performing unit testing, Troubleshooting, and defect triage

• Peer reviews the deliverables of team members



Qualifications

Candidates must have these mandatory skills to assess eligibility for their profile. The must-have requirements are:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with WSO2 Enterprise Integrator and API manager (Cloud or on premise)

• Understanding of OAS/Swagger and how to participate in API-led implementations with a design-first approach

• Hands-on experience in creating API policies (Rate limiting, mTLS, JWT etc.,)

• Strong understanding of API Management and Gateways

• Strong in any programming skill (preferably C# or Java) and experience with JSON and XML

• Working knowledge of javascript and XML

• Solid understanding of the WSO2 exception-handling capabilities and how to integrate those concepts into solution design

• Ability to translate business requirements into a comprehensive, well-formed technical design

• Experience working closely with business users and helping them make critical decisions that will influence the solution by explaining options, concepts, and best practices

• Strong attention to detail around business process design and process improvement

• Excellent written and verbal skills are essential

• Understanding of project priorities, timelines, budget, and deliverables and the need to proactively push yourself and others to achieve project goals

• Strong consulting skills to work professionally with customer IT and business users

• Experience working with source code control systems

• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly analyze and resolve difficult problems.
