Company Description Mantrana Maritime Advisory is a specialised consulting firm in the maritime domain, providing research, strategy, and advisory services to ports, shipping companies, logistics operators, shipyards, and investors. The team helps clients make informed decisions, assess project feasibility, and identify growth opportunities in the maritime ecosystem.Role Description This is a full-time, non-IT consulting role based in CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. The Junior Business Analyst will work with senior consultants on: Market research and industry analysis in ports, shipping, logistics and infrastructure Data collection, validation, and basic financial / volume analysis in Excel Preparation of project feasibility notes, presentations, and client reports Desk research using reports, government data, and industry sources Support in drafting proposals, concept notes, and internal documentsImportant Note – Non-IT / Non-Software Profile This role is suited for candidates interested in management consulting / sectoral research, not software or IT business analysis.The termBusiness Analystis used very broadly across industries. For this position, we are specifically looking for anon-IT, non-softwareprofile focused on business research, economics, trade and logistics – not on software, coding, ERP or system implementation. The candidate should have the following skills and orientation:Genuine interest and passion for economy, trade, efficiency and transportation Good awareness of business and economic developments at local, state and national level Ability to analyse statistics in Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, charts, etc.) Ability to prepare clear and structured PowerPoint presentations Ability to write factual, grammatically correct report in Word, explaining the analysis and conclusions Ability to present analysis and conclusions verbally in a concise mannerWe sincerely appreciate the enthusiasm of prospective candidates.
