About the Role :


We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, implement, and manage websites built on the WordPress platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in PHP, WordPress themes and plugins, and a good eye for design and usability.

You will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and project managers to deliver responsive, user-friendly websites.

Key Responsibilities :


- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.

- Create responsive and visually appealing websites optimized for performance and SEO.

- Collaborate with designers and content teams to translate designs and wireframes into functional websites.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues related to WordPress installations, themes, and plugins.

- Perform regular site maintenance including updates, backups, and security enhancements.

- Optimize website speed, performance, and security.

- Implement custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services such as payment gateways, CRMs, and marketing tools.

- Ensure websites are compliant with best practices for accessibility and SEO.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Proven experience as a WordPress developer with a portfolio of live sites.

- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

- Experience with popular WordPress themes and plugin development.

- Familiarity with WordPress REST API and headless WordPress is a plus.

- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

- Experience with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg blocks.

- Basic understanding of SEO best practices and website analytics tools.

- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
