As a Backend Engineer, you will :

- Design and implement robust backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS, with a focus on security and performance.

- Leverage the flexibility of serverless architecture with AWS Lambda, ensuring efficient resource utilization and scalability.

- Harness the power of GraphQL to create efficient and expressive APIs that adhere to security best practices.

- Integrate with cutting-edge AI models from OpenAI to unlock new possibilities, while safeguarding sensitive data.

- Manage complex data structures using Neo4j, Pinecone, and Redis databases, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.

- Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using Auth0 and Open Policy Agent (OPA) to protect user data and resources.

- Design and implement asynchronous communication using AWS Queue Service (SQS, SNS) to ensure reliable message delivery.

- Employ Synk and SonarQube to uphold high standards of code quality, security, and compliance.

- Contribute to a multi-cloud architecture (AWS as the primary provider), making strategic choices for different services to maximize performance and cost-efficiency.

- Collaborate with security teams to ensure the backend adheres to strict security protocols, proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities.

- Partner with frontend engineers to deliver a seamless, secure, and high-performing user experience.

- Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve our backend infrastructure, prioritizing scalability, security, and maintainability.


What You Bring to the Table :

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and serverless architectures.

- Experience building scalable, secure backend services and APIs.

- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Queue Service (SQS, SNS), Neo4j, Pinecone, and Redis.

- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (Auth0, OPA).

- Familiarity with Synk and SonarQube for code quality and security analysis.

- Experience working in multi-cloud environments (AWS primarily).

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
