Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using QAD Enterprise Edition and Progress 4GL.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and best practices.

- Implement non-intrusive programming techniques (e.g., ICT) to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.

- Work on integration projects leveraging tools like EDI, Qxtend, Excelerator, and QRF.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and deliver robust solutions.

- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance.

- Stay updated on QAD features, updates, and emerging best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Technical Skills (Must-Have) :

- QAD Enterprise Edition (QAD EE) and Progress 4GL development.

- Non-intrusive programming (ICT).

- Hands-on experience with EDI, Qxtend, Excelerator, QRF, and related tools.

- Strong understanding of Manufacturing/Pro (Mfg/Pro) environment.

- Experience with maintenance, inquiry, and browse functionalities in QAD.

- Exposure to integration projects and QAD customizations.

Additional Skills (Preferred) :

- Leadership experience (minimum 3 years mentoring and guiding a development team).

- Familiarity with database management and system performance tuning.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

- QAD or Progress certifications (if any) would be a plus.
