Key Responsibilities :

Design and Development :

- Lead the design and development of robust and scalable web services using Java and Spring Boot.

- Architect and implement microservices and RESTful APIs that adhere to best practices and design principles.

- Ensure high quality and maintainability of code through code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.

Service-Based Applications :

- Develop and maintain service-oriented applications that leverage Spring Boot and related technologies.

- Implement and manage databases, messaging queues, and other components to ensure the seamless operation of services.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to service performance, reliability, and scalability.

Scrum and Agile Practices :

- Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the agile transformation of the development process.

Technical Leadership :

- Mentor and guide junior developers and peers, providing technical direction and support.

- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java development and service-oriented architectures.

- Drive technical excellence and advocate for high coding standards, automated testing, and efficient development practices.

Documentation and Communication :

- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and systems.

Must-Have Skills :

- Java Development : Advanced proficiency in Java programming, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and patterns.

- Spring Boot : Hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework, including the development of microservices, RESTful APIs, and integration with databases and messaging systems.

- Web Services : Expertise in designing, building, and consuming web services, with a focus on RESTful API development.

- Service-Oriented Architecture : Experience with building and maintaining service-oriented architectures, including microservices.

- Scrum and Agile Methodologies : Proven experience working in Scrum teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies to manage and deliver software projects effectively.

Preferred Skills :

- Database Management : Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including design, optimization, and querying.

- Cloud Platforms : Exposure to cloud services and platforms (e.g AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their integration with Java applications.

Qualifications :
