About the Role : We are seeking a skilled Magento Developer with strong expertise in PHP frameworks to join our development team.You will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining high-performance eCommerce websites on the Magento platform, leveraging PHP frameworks to enhance functionality, scalability, and user experience.If you are passionate about eCommerce development, have deep knowledge of Magento and PHP frameworks, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, this is the perfect role for you.Key Responsibilities : - Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites and modules.- Build reusable and modular code using PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or Zend to extend Magento functionality.- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features on time.- Optimize Magento performance, including frontend and backend improvements, caching strategies, and database optimizations.- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and other services with Magento.- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to Magento, PHP, and server environments.- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design standards.- Stay updated with the latest Magento releases, PHP best practices, and eCommerce trends.- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior developers.- Document code, processes, and best practices for future reference.Requirements : Experience : - 3+ years of professional experience as a Magento developer with a strong portfolio of Magento 2 projects.- Solid understanding of PHP and experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, Zend, or similar).- Experience with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and libraries such as jQuery or Knockout.js.Technical Skills : - Deep knowledge of Magento architecture, module development, theme customization, and database structure.- Familiarity with MySQL and database design for eCommerce applications.- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs for integration purposes.- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.- Understanding of server environments, deployment processes, and CI/CD pipelines.Soft Skills : - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting (ref:hirist.tech)
