Job Title: Security Consultant - Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT)Designation:SecurityConsultant Location and way of working Base location: Bangalore Professional is required to work from office and Client locations.Employment Type : Full Time, Permanent Role Category : Information SecurityKey Responsibilities: To lead and deliver advanced client-facing offensive security services with a focus on Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Red Team engagements, and Cloud Security Testing.This role involves simulating sophisticated attack scenarios, identifying gaps across infrastructure and applications, and providing actionable recommendations to strengthen client security posture.You will also be guiding a team of junior cyber professionals, ensure quality of deliverables, engage with clients at both technical and management levels, and contribute to building advanced capabilities such as cloud and AI penetration testing.Works on projects with clearly defined guidelines as team member with responsibility for project delivery Performs cyber security assessments which includes vulnerability assessment & penetration testing, network security architecture review, secure configuration / code review, etc. Perform red teaming exercises, cyber war gaming and breach scenario exercises. Should participate in practice development initiatives of Cyberium Labs. Understands basic business and information technology management processes. Demonstrates knowledge of global methodologies, frameworks, and tools Participate in practice development initiatives The key skills required are as follows: Understanding of basic business and information technology management processes Good knowledge of TCP/ IP and Networks including Firewall, IDS/IPS, Routers, Switches, and network architecture Experience in Infrastructure Penetration Testing and Application Security Testing Experience in Secure Code Review (Code Security Review) Experience in conducting configuration reviews of infrastructure and network assets.Desired qualifications Additional Skillset : We are not looking for Super-humans but professionals with additional Skillsets in Security Operations or Digital Forensics or GRC Skills is expected. Experience : We kept a bracket of 3 to 5 years. However, we believe experience is not measured by years. You should have excellent creativity and presentation skills. Certifications : Good to have certifications like CEH, OSCP or equivalent. Please note that these certificate helps us put you in the interview list. But never guarantee you the selection till you prove your skills.Travel As and when required, across the country for project execution and monitoring.
