Job Summary:

As a Full Chip/SoC Architect ,@ MNC you will play a pivotal role in building concepts and architecting advanced system-on-chip (SoC), ASIC solutions specifically tailored for the automotive sector.


Your expertise in functional safety and adherence to industry-mandated quality standards will be crucial in developing cutting-edge SoCs for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving, and other automotive applications.


Your work will involve collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including hardware, software, system, platform teams to create SoC/ASIC architectures that fulfil automotive specifications.


Ideal candidate should be wYou will also be responsible for systems architecture and definition, including translating the business opportunity into use cases and developing the product specifications with the product director for required hardware and software needed to deliver system requirements. Leads design, analysis, and implementation of component level choices across the spectrum. We are looking for innovative individuals who are eager to develop cutting-edge products from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and architect SoCs/ASICs for automotive applications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance analyses to identify optimal SoC architectures, subsystems, and interfaces for automotive systems.
  • Develop and review specifications, microarchitecture, and system-level design documentation tailored for automotive SoCs/ASICs.
  • Work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of automotive SoCs/ASICs.
  • Drive innovation by exploring new technologies, methodologies, and industry trends relevant to automotive SoC/ASIC design.
  • Optimize SoC/ASIC designs for power efficiency, performance, area, and other critical automotive metrics.
  • Engage with customers and partners to understand their automotive requirements and deliver SoC/ASIC solutions that meet their needs.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members in the automotive domain.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in automotive SoC/ASIC design and emerging industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in SoC/ASIC architecture and design, with a focus on automotive applications.
  • Expertise in automotive systems, with a strong understanding of hardware and software interactions within SoCs.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and verification tools specific to automotive applications.
  • Solid knowledge of system-level trade-offs and constraints, including power, performance, area, and latency in automotive contexts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment focused on automotive innovation.
