JOB TITLE:
IT Delivery Manager.
Job SUMMARY:
- The IT Delivery Manager will lead Delivery for the Client account across 3 to 4 Workstreams of IT.
- Should have managed large Dev and Support programs in a client facing role responsible for project management, stakeholder management, people mgmt and financials/operations.
- The person needs to be a dynamic problem solver and thought-leading thinker with a professional poise.
- The IT Delivery Manager will use exceptional communication skills to manage the delivery of projects across multiple portfolios.
- The IT Delivery Manager will demonstrate a curiosity and willingness to grasp and adapt quickly to business concepts while demonstrating a meticulous attention to details and documentation.
Location: Bangalore.
Education: Relevant bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
- Project management utilizing project management specific toolsets such as ServiceNow Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, etc.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Healthcare IT infrastructure and electronic records implementation projects in a large matrix organization.
- Understanding and exposure to SDLC, PMBOK, Agile Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, & Hybrid project management methodology.
Licenses/Certifications:
- PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory.
- Certified Scrum Master preferred, but not mandatory.
KEY Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates working knowledge of project management PMBOK methodology and SDLC and basic knowledge of program management and applies it to the day-to-day work.
- Manages large projects with medium to high complexity using corporate processes and artifacts.
- Establishes and executes project communication, meeting facilitation, and status updates.
- Ensures project sponsors and owners remain fully informed with accurate, transparent, and timely information regarding project status, risks, action items and budget.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, stakeholder management, process adherence, ownership/ commitment, learning agility and risk management capabilities.
- Works with product/project owner to ensure scope is explicitly defined and documented and maintains integrity of scope.
- Responsible and accountable for the work, leads by example, brings energy and drive to the work.
- Adapt approach and style to meet client/project needs; understands there may be multiple avenues to achieving the desired outcome, maintains and encourages a positive attitude.
- Remains calm during conflict and high stress situations, processes feedback as coaching/ input to the work and not criticism.
- Consensus builder with client/stakeholder expectations, ability to navigate the decision-making process.
- Demonstrates ability to view the work from the client/stakeholder perspective and synthesize those disparate views into a consensus view for the project team.
- Provides Voice of the Customer input to all teams.
- Clear, concise, and professional oral & written communications.
- Strong Facilitation and Collaboration Skills.
- Ability to summarize detailed information to an Executive level and communicate effectively with an Executive audience.
- Effectively communicate technical information to a nontechnical audience.
- Conducts quality reviews to ensure that the program, project artifacts and deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects and scopes.
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Exhibits high empathy for patient safety and client satisfaction.
- Manages exposure and risk on projects to the minimum possible level.
- Authors project artifacts such as Charter, SOW, Quality and Communication plans.
- Ensures all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manages project and program budgets, analyzes budget data to produce project financial reports.
- Consults with internal and external clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs and attain client approval.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
- Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
- Must be alert at all times and pay close attention to details.
- Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND CONDITIONS:
- Works in a clean, well-lit environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Requires substantial periods of work utilizing a computer, monitor, keyboard, and mouse.
- Requires lifting and carrying equipment and supplies weighing up to 35 lbs.
- Requires walking and standing; requires sitting; occasional ascending/descending stairs.
- The ability to reach or bend frequently is required.
- Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to operate equipment.
Work environment/travel:
- This job primarily operates independently as remote extension of the corporate office.
- This job may be performed in a correctional facility, client site or counseling center including minimum, medium or maximum-security levels.
- Employees are exposed to some level of risk and/or harm by inmates including exposure to blood borne pathogens.
- Employee is expected to work in accordance with all security rules and regulations to minimize the risk of danger and/or harm to themselves or other employees.
- This position may require travel depending on specific needs.
