Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to lead or support the development of SoC-based Instrument Cluster cum IVI systems for next-generation automotive platforms. The role involves working on Linux/Android-based platforms, integrating multiple displays, and developing real-time, safety-compliant features with strong HMI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop embedded software for SoC-based instrument cluster + IVI systems.
  • Work with Linux/Android BSP, middleware, and HMI frameworks (e.g., Qt, Flutter, Kanzi, or Crank).
  • Integrate features like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Multimedia Streaming.
  • Collaborate with hardware and system teams on bootloader, secure boot, device drivers, and power management.
  • Ensure compliance with ASPICE, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434 standards.
  • Support functional safety (ASIL-A/B) and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Perform software debugging, optimization, and system-level validation.
  • Use tools like Git, Jenkins, Yocto, and Android build system for CI/CD.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong Embedded C/C++, with understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and Multicore SoCs
  • Experience with Linux Kernel, BSP, Device Drivers, and middleware layers
  • Familiarity with Yocto build system, AOSP (Android Open Source Project), and bootloaders (U-Boot)
  • Communication protocols: CAN (UDS, ISO-TP), Ethernet (DoIP), LIN, UART, SPI, I2C
  • Exposure to display systems, touch input, and GPU acceleration (e.g., OpenGL ES)
  • Development experience for multi-display, cluster-IVI integration, or Digital Cockpit

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Hypervisors (e.g., QNX Hypervisor, Xen, Jailhouse)
  • Familiarity with Apertis, Android Automotive, or GENIVI platforms
  • Hands-on with Graphics frameworks (Qt, EGL, Flutter, Unity, etc.)
  • Awareness of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity (ISO 21434, UN R155/156)
  • Knowledge of OTA (Over-the-Air) update mechanisms and Diagnostic protocols (UDS, OBD-II)

Tools & Environment:

  • Development: GCC, Git, GDB, Yocto, Android Studio, Jenkins
  • Debugging: Lauterbach, JTAG, CANalyzer/CANoe, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer
  • Version Control & CI: Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Requirement & Issue Tracking: JIRA, DOORS, Polarion

  • AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive)
