Azure Engineer Department: Service Delivery Reports to: Technical Team Lead Work Model: Work from Office (WFO) We are hiring an Azure Engineer – to provide continuous operational support, optimization, and cost management for client Azure environments. This role is responsible for maintaining a secure, efficient, and cost-effective Azure infrastructure, supporting O365/Entra/Intune, and ensuring clients are maximizing value from their cloud investment. Education and Experience: Hands-on experience in Azure operations, administration, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of Office 365 licensing, tenant configurations, and subscription management. Proficiency in Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune device/application management. Understanding of Azure cost optimization techniques such as reserved instances, rightsizing, and hybrid benefits. Knowledge of server workload monitoring, patching, and performance analysis. Familiarity with Azure security and compliance best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to resolve technical issues independently. Excellent communication skills and customer-focused mindset. Responsibilities: Perform O365 licensing and tenant reviews to ensure compliance, optimization, and cost efficiency. Provide Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune support, including troubleshooting, policy management, and end-user assistance. Review workloads and servers to confirm proper configuration, security, and performance optimization. Validate whether Azure servers are configured under 3-year reserved instances for cost savings. Conduct environment reviews to ensure Azure resources are being utilized effectively and aligned with best practices. Perform troubleshooting of workloads, servers, and application issues within Azure. Identify and implement cost optimization measures for clients, including rightsizing and licensing reviews. Generate operational reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
