Please connect with me on LinkedIn for a swift response.Roles & Responsibilities- Engage directly with end users to understand requirements and define use cases. - Design, build, and deploy Python applications for Edge Gateway devices. - Implement and optimize algorithms for edge environments. - Build reusable, scalable code and libraries for future use. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IoT, platform, and infrastructure teams.-Qualifications & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus). - 5+ years of hands-on experience developing applications in Python. - Strong knowledge of OOP principles, SOLID design patterns, Abstraction, Encapsulation, and Modularity. - Experience with communication protocols such as MQTT and Kafka. - Strong knowledge of container technologies: Docker & Kubernetes. - Experience with CI/CD, Agile methodologies, Git, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and integration testing. - Proven skills in code optimization for resource-constrained real-time environments (e.g., GPU, TPU). - Working knowledge of IoT architecture, network topologies, and IoT security. - Proficiency with Linux and Bash scripting. - Experience with single-board computers (e.g., Raspberry Pi) and virtual machines (e.g., VirtualBox, VMware) is a plus. - Experience with embedded software development (RTOS, ADC, buffers) is a strong advantage. - Self-starter mindset – able to work independently in a dynamic, startup-like environment.-Preferred Skills & Ratings (Self-Assessment Area)Area Comments / Rating (out of 10)Total Python ExperienceIoT Architecture, Protocols (MQTT, Kafka)Edge Application DevelopmentCloud IoT Platforms (Azure / GCP)Docker & KubernetesCode Optimization for GPU / TPULinux & Bash ScriptingEmbedded / RTOS ExperienceCommunication SkillsScreening QuestionsPlease be ready to discuss the following during the screening round:1.
