Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Golang, a strong understanding of software engineering principles, and the ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend systems and services using Golang. Ensure the software meets performance, reliability, and scalability requirements.
  • Architecture and Design: Contribute to the architectural design of complex systems. Develop and enforce best practices and coding standards.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Optimize code and system performance to handle high-load scenarios.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Mentoring: Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices. Assist with onboarding new team members.
  • Testing and Debugging: Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Golang and related technologies. Advocate for and implement improvements to development processes and tools.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for code, systems, and processes.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Golang, with a deep understanding of its libraries, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their associated services.
  • Familiarity with other programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js).
  • Contributions to open-source projects or personal projects showcasing Golang expertise.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
