Job purpose::

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our R&D team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design support.


Roles & responsibilities::

  • Design support in new projects acquisition. CAD model/Drawings and BOM creation.
  • Use CAD (Creo 3.0), windchill PLM (11.0) and 3D CAD programs to plan mechanical design projects.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD (Mechanical), Coral, SAP, MS-Office etc.
  • Awareness of design release & design change (ECN/ECR) process.
  • Sound knowledge of GD&T, Stack-up analysis.
  • Research, design, and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment.
  • Understand customer expectations and support CFT for feasibility study.
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, keeping in mind the budget, timelines, and other essential resources.
  • Functional knowledge, managing different work areas/subjects, supporting Dept. in complex work.
  • Ability to work independently, willingness for additional responsibility, suggest ways to enhance work operations.
  • Report to the senior mechanical design engineers and report to the company regarding the status of each project.
  • Maintains positive working relations, flexible, cooperative, ability to communicate/ interact effectively with colleagues, customers, clients.


Functional competencies::

  • Good Understanding of CAD Tools (Creo 3.0).
  • Ability of drawing study & feasibility.
  • Hands on experience on GD&T & Stack-up Analysis.
  • Knowledge of process of Awareness of material & process (Casting/Forging and Machining etc.).
