Tanium Consultant

Description :We are seeking an experienced Tanium Consultant to join our IT security and endpoint management team.The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing Tanium solutions, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.This role involves close collaboration with IT, security, and operations teams to enhance endpoint visibility, compliance, and threat detection across the enterprise environment.Key Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and manage Tanium platform solutions for endpoint management, security, and compliance.- Configure and maintain Tanium modules such as Asset, Deploy, Patch, Comply, Discover, and Threat Response.- Develop and execute automation scripts and custom packages for endpoint management.- Perform endpoint health checks, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and reporting.- Collaborate with IT security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure system stability and data accuracy.- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize Tanium configurations.- Create and maintain documentation, dashboards, and reports for internal stakeholders.- Stay up to date with emerging Tanium features, security best practices, and endpoint management trends.Qualifications & Skills :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.- 3- 8 years of experience in IT systems management, with at least 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tanium.- Proficiency in one or more Tanium modules (Deploy, Patch, Comply, Asset, etc.)- Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.- Experience with endpoint security, patch management, and compliance reporting.- Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Shell) for automation.- Familiarity with Active Directory, SCCM, and vulnerability management tools is an advantage.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills (ref:hirist.tech)
