Sr. Manager - Presales (Procurement)
Role Description :
- Manage S2P Proposal, RFI/ RFP response.
- Brainstorm and develop Value messaging/ Value alignment in Proposals/ Solution framework.
- Design S2P solutions & spend/savings strategies for prospects.
- Support in pipeline build.
- Identify and Drive business opportunities through existing SCM - S2P account mining/ ramp.
- Proactively pitch Business opportunities in S2P, MDM streams across non-SCM accounts.
- Support in development and deployment of SCM S2P Go-To Market Strategy.
- Ability to manage end to end sales cycle starting from developing a solution, writing proposal, preparing for the orals, defending it, commercial discussions all the through contract discussions.
- Focused support in Spend Management, e-sourcing, procurement/ Contract Management/ Supplier Relationship Management, Master Data Management process, across Applications/ ERPs.
- Capability to defend and present solutions to the client.
- Support in development and deployment of innovative Supply Chain solution practices including Solution design, transition, training, performance matrix finalization, Stabilization of Operations, Process improvement initiatives and transformation.
CRITICAL SKILLS REQUIRED :
- Experience in S2P solution & proposal framework development.
- Domain industry process exposure and knowledge of industry process nuances (Mfg or CPG/ Retail or Services).
- Good (in-depth) knowledge & exposure to S2P BPS Platforms (understand a broad range of products and services).
- Good exposure / Knowledge of NextGen tools like - RPA / AI ML / Gen AI solution in procurement.
- Knowledge of BPO Industry (peer) bench-mark/ best practices.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent MS Word, Excel & Ppt. skills.
- Analytical skills: ability to identify patterns in data and draw appropriate conclusions.
- Ability to work in Matrix/ Complex Org designs, Problem solving abilities.
- Knowledge of Quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, etc.
