About the ProjectA national priority project aimed at developing growth standards for Indian children is being coordinated by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). As part of the multi-site research effort, working on this project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a study that will have a long-lasting impact on child health in India.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a candidate as Program Officer to manage all aspects of the India Child Growth Standards Research Initiative in Delhi. This role offers significant professional growth, with the opportunity to work closely with investigators, field teams, and national stakeholders in a multi-site environment.
QualificationsEducation: MBBS / BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS with a Master’s in Public Health from a recognized university..Experience: At least 2 years in health research or project management, preferably in public health.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate all project activities.Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure smooth field operations and compliance with study protocols.Ensure data quality and regularly report progress to the principal investigators.Develop solutions to address challenges, ensuring the project meets its milestones.
Knowledge and SkillsUnderstanding of epidemiology and biostatistics.Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English and scientific writing aptitude.Basic knowledge of data analysis tools like SPSS, STATA, or R is an advantage.
