Fashion Designer – Babywear

Location:Indore, India Type:Full-timeKey Responsibilities ●Lead the end-to-end design and developmentof premium baby fashion collections — including apparel, footwear, and accessories — from trend research and concept creation to final sampling and production. ● Conductseasonal market research, trend analysis, and consumer insight studiesto identify key opportunities and translate them into fresh, commercially viable designs aligned with Minimie’s aesthetic. ●Develop mood boards, storylines, and seasonal colour palettesthat reflect the brand’s philosophy ofmodern, warm, and minimaldesign for little ones. ● Create detailedtechnical drawings, CADs, and tech packswith specifications, measurements, and construction details for production teams and vendors. ● Collaborate closely withfabric and trim sourcing teamsto select premium materials that balance comfort, quality, and design intent. ● Work withsampling and production teamsto ensure timely execution and maintain the highest standards of fit, finish, and quality. ● Leadfit sessions and design reviews , providing clear, actionable feedback to ensure consistency with the brand’s design language and standards. ● Prepare and presentseasonal design decks and product boardsto leadership and cross-functional teams. ● Maintain well-organiseddesign documentation, reference libraries, and digital archivesfor future collections. ● Contribute toprocess innovation and sustainability initiatives , bringing fresh ideas, techniques, and modern tools to enhance design output.Requirements ● Bachelor’s degree inFashion Designor related field. ●2-5 yearsof relevant experience in apparel design (experience in babywear, kidswear, or premium lifestyle brands a plus, not mandatory). ● Understanding ofbabywear silhouettes, comfort-driven design, and safe materials . ● Proficiency inAdobe Illustrator, Photoshop , and other CAD tools. ● Solid grasp offabric behavior, trims, surface techniques, and garment construction . ● Excellent sense of colour, proportion, and detail, with the ability to translate global trends for the Indian market. ● Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills. ● Ability to managemultiple design projectsin a fast-paced, growing brand environment.Nice to Have ● Experience with3D design toolslike CLO or Browzwear. ● Exposure tosustainable and organic fabric sourcing . ● Prior experience in apremium, design-led, or D2C fashion brand .Note:Our hiring team will review your application, and if your profile aligns with this role, we’ll get in touch.
