Description :Here is an interesting opportunity to be part of Kalkitech's Kalki.io product R&D team, which uses the latest cloud and enterprise technologies.As a software developer/lead developer, you get a chance to work on a very intriguing set of software features of the product, enabling the energy transition needs of multiple customers across the globe.The requirement is for seasoned programmers to contribute to the design and development activities of enterprise software applications based on Java and cloud technology.Kalki.io is one of the leading software platforms catering to the integration of operational data from energy systems in a highly scalable and secure way.The role demands an understanding of the core aspects of cloud computing, containerization, and component-based integration, agnostic to the hosting environment.Experience in full-stack development is expected, with working experience in Kubernetes-based applications are highly preferred.It provides a great opportunity for core techies to build a great career path around cloud/fog technologies and apply it for the benefit of the energy transition.Essential Skills :- Problem-Solving skills.- Oral Communication and presentation skills.- Java / J2EE / Enterprise web application design and development skills.- Exposure to developing dockerized applications.- Exposure to load balancing, application clustering.- OWASP TOP-10 familiarity.- RDBMS, SQL proficiency.- Unit Testing / Automated unit testing.- Familiarity with Microservice-based architecture.Desired Skills :- Knowledge of Postgres.- Knowledge of Kubernetes.- Knowledge of Go development.- Knowledge of React.js.- Knowledge of UML.Roles & Responsibility :Positions are open for Senior Software Developers and Technical Leads.The technical Lead will be responsible for :- Design and Development of product features.- Lead a team of developers & senior developers.- Troubleshooting and modification of existing Software.- Perform peer code/design review.- Unit testing and automated unit/integration testing.Location : Bangalore/Kochi.
