Introduction :

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Consultant / Technical Project Lead who will be accountable for the timely completion and quality execution of assigned projects, either as a project lead or a substantial contributor.

This role involves translating business needs into technical specifications, building scalable data pipelines, developing analytical models, and leading the delivery of insights and visualizations that drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft BI stack technologies (SSIS, SSAS, Azure Data Factory, Power BI), preferably with exposure to Microsoft Fabric, and the capability to manage end-to-end analytics solutionsfrom architecture to reporting.

This role also includes mentoring team members, managing delivery quality, and contributing to pre-sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities Execution :

- Accountable for timely completion and quality execution of assigned analytics projects.

- Hold responsibility for 1 to 3 (stretch to 4) projects simultaneously.

- Contribute to pre-sales by understanding high-level requirements, designing approaches, providing estimations, and building & Analytics Delivery :

- Translate business needs related to insights into technical specifications.

- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, analytics strategies, and data models for both structured and unstructured data.

- Define and create ETL or ELT processes and aggregate data efficiently in a data warehouse.

- Use accurate and secure methods to extract data and ensure high-quality data management practices.

- Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, metadata, and data security.

- Use data visualization techniques to present information clearly using tools like Power BI.

- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports and insights.

- Prepare analytical models using SSAS or Azure Analysis Quality & Optimization :

- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

- Filter and clean data by reviewing business needs and performance indicators to locate and correct problems.

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

- Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing Management & Collaboration :

- Envision, plan, and monitor project progress and team members' contributions.

- Conduct project meetings with end customers and communicate deliverable status to stakeholders.

- Identify appropriate templates or approaches for deliverables and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Guide and assist team members in breaking down tasks and executing & Reporting :

- Contribute to a wide range of analytics deliverables such as :

1. Reports, dashboards, data marts, data warehouses.

2. Marketing or training documentation including technical specifications, use cases, user guides, and technical presentations.

3. Communication materials tailored for & Skills :

Must-have :

- Experience in creating data pipelines using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or Dataflow.

- Hands-on expertise in creating analytical models using SSAS or Azure Analysis Services.

- Proven success in building central data warehouses and scalable data systems.

Preferred :

- End-to-end project implementation experience using Microsoft Fabric.

- Strong knowledge of Power BI for advanced dashboarding and reporting.

Additional :

- In-depth understanding of database design, ETL development, and reporting tools.

- Familiarity with cloud services like SQL Azure, Dataverse, and SQL Data Warehouse.

- Ability to gather and analyze solution requirements and translate them into detailed functional/technical Qualification :

- BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent formal education/training with above-average academic & Domain Understanding :

1. Broad interest and understanding in topics such as :

- Data modeling.

- Analytics architecture.

- Functional business processes (sales, marketing, etc.

- Emerging technology trends, competing product strengths, and platform & Mentorship :

- Ability to mentor team members and build work ethics aligned with the organization's value proposition.

- Guide team members on technology, business application, and process awareness.

- Effectively plan and monitor execution through task breakdown, clear assignments, and consistent progress tracking.

- Understanding of key project metrics such as team utilization, quality scores, and variance tracking.

- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with cross-location teams and Skills :

- Proficient in clear and proactive communication on technical, project, and team-related matters.

- Excellent command of spoken and written American English.

- Able to develop and deliver complex content such as whitepapers, technical presentations, and strategic proposals.

- Strong presentation skills and experience in conducting technology workshops.
