Job Summary:


The Deputy Manager - PR and Communications will lead the Association’s media and

public relations strategies, driving initiatives to enhance brand reputation and visibility.

This role involves managing high-level media relations, overseeing crisis

communications, and guiding the development and execution of PR campaigns. The

position requires a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, strategic

thinking, and extensive experience in media and public relations.

Qualifications and Skills:

- 6+ years of experience in media relations, public relations, or a similar role.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful media and PR strategies.

- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Expertise in corporate communication and media relation.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex projects with multiple

stakeholders.

- Willingness to travel as required.


Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the steel, mining or metal industries.

- Previous experience working in a multinational corporation or a global PR agency.
