About the Role

Seeking a seasoned AI/ML Specialist – Expert with extensive experience delivering enterprise-grade AI/ML solutions in Oil & Gas, focusing on E&P, Operations, Supply Chain, and HSE. This leadership role involves solution architecture, mentoring, and driving AI strategy and execution to unlock business value such as enhanced safety, optimized asset utilization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead design, development, and deployment of advanced AI/ML models—deep learning, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning.
  • Implement and oversee MLOps practices including CI/CD, container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Manage big data infrastructure and platforms (Spark, Databricks, Hadoop).
  • Enforce AI ethics, governance, compliance with industry standards, and explainability.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering skill development.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define metrics and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Provide thought leadership on AI/ML trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master's/Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 12–15 years of AI/ML experience with demonstrable domain expertise in Oil & Gas.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, Scala, C++, with ML framework mastery.
  • Expertise in cloud ML platforms, MLOps, and enterprise architecture.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
