Role : Senior Engineer


Responsibilities :


- Design and develop api integrations in partnership with architecture and platform teams to build next-generation product capabilities that drive business growth.

- Contribute to proof of concepts and deliver highly secure, scalable, cost-effective applications that align with the team's strategy and vision.

- Focus on execution, and delivery of highly reliable, high-quality integrations aimed at maximizing business value through data products.

- Be an integral part of the data engineering teams, building and improving next-generation data, and analytics capabilities within the devsecops framework.

- Work closely with the business analytics leaders to understand the needs of the business clearly articulating the story of value created through data and technology.

- Participate in prioritization and implementation of the most appropriate combination of data engineering methodologies, and frameworks to ensure optimal scalability, flexibility, and performance of platforms, products, and solutions.

- Be an expert and a thought leader in how data and technology come together to empower the business.

- Forge trusted partnerships and be an integral part of data engineering, data architecture, and platforms, and data science teams to adopt, scale, and build data products.

Requirements :


- Undergraduate degree in technology, computer science, applied data sciences, or other related fields; advanced degree in related fields preferred.

- Demonstrated strength in examining issues, driving resolution, and influencing effectively across the organization.

- Ability to challenge the status quo in technology, and architecture.

- Superb interpersonal, and communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.

- 2+ years in data engineering teams in consumer/healthcare goods companies and excellent understanding of business domains within the industry.

- 3+ years of progressive experience with developing apis using python / kafka, in addition to designing and implementing scalable and efficient microservice architectures.

- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience developing data integrations using api and streams in cloud architecture (azure, gcp, aws), and cloud-based databases (synapse, databricks, snowflake, redshift).

- 2+ years implementing, integrating, and documenting a variety of software platforms through industry-standard api frameworks.

- Minimum of 3 years of planning and execution using agile methodology (scrum/kanban) within the devsecops model.

- Ability to build data pipelines to address data challenges: different granularity, data gaps, sophisticated matching logic, multi-language, structured, and unstructured; harmonization, and normalization of data.

- Proven track record being part of multiple high-profile projects with demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with defined resources.

- Ability to estimate required effort and prioritize work items.
