Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the pre-sales team in the commissioning of energy storage projects, including drafting commissioning plans and conducting customer communications.
  • Participate in contract negotiations during the contract phase; provide technical and commercial input regarding the scope of work for Balance of Plant (BOP)/EPC and related subcontractors, clarify contractual boundaries, and ensure risk control at the contract level. Clearly define the responsibilities, obligations, and penalty clauses for both parties involved in the project.
  • Develop commissioning plans and lead commissioning work related to AC equipment and station-level devices during the project delivery phase. This includes formulating commissioning plans, coordinating commissioning resources, and executing commissioning tasks for third-party AC equipment and collaborating units. Proactively identify and escalate risks to ensure smooth commissioning progress and timely closure of issues.
  • As the representative of the commissioning function, support the project management team in communicating and coordinating commissioning-related tasks with clients and third parties. During the commissioning phase, ensure that the project management team follows contractual and internal project management documents to formalize communication records and issue relevant letters, so as to maintain a favorable position in case of potential disputes.
  • As a technical expert, organize training and hands-on sessions on third-party AC products to enhance the field team's understanding and skills. Ensure that on-site engineers are capable of independently handling common equipment faults and performing operation and maintenance tasks after project delivery.
  • As a commissioning expert, continuously provide product improvement suggestions, optimize commissioning processes, and enhance product competitiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; Master's or Ph.D. is preferred. Candidates with an electrical or power system background are preferred.
  • Familiar with commissioning work for local renewable energy projects; at least 5+ years of experience in the international renewable energy or energy storage industry.
  • Strong logical thinking, good communication and summarization skills, with a solid sense of planning and execution.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and risk management abilities. English is the working language.
