Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of robust backend solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system design, network protocols, and cloud platforms, coupled with the ability to independently tackle complex technical challenges. This role demands a dynamic individual who can adapt to any tech stack, ensuring efficient and secure solutions while fostering a collaborative work environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable backend systems and architectures that support high traffic and real-time processing.
  • Develop and maintain secure APIs, ensuring best practices in network security, data encryption, and protection.
  • Utilize expertise in parallel computing to optimize performance, ensuring thread safety, deadlock prevention, and effective data sharing between threads.
  • Work with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker to ensure seamless deployment and management of services.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes and automated testing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in software development.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and security practices, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and security of deployed systems.
  • Provide technical leadership, guiding the team in adopting new tools, frameworks, or languages as necessary.


Key Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development, including system design and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, web-sockets, and other network protocols.
  • Proficiency in network security principles, such as encryption, securing APIs, and data protection.
  • Experience with parallel computing: threading, concurrency, thread safety, data sharing, and deadlock prevention.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and others.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of handling complex technical projects independently.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tech stacks, learning new languages or frameworks as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language, though specific language expertise is flexible.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, and system integration.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Kubernetes Certified Administrator).
