DevOps Lead / Architect

Job Description :

As a DevOps Lead / Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure and processes. You will lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud-based solutions, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems. You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver high-quality, reliable software with speed and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of DevOps pipelines.

- Design and implement scalable, high-performance, and secure infrastructure using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Automate repetitive processes and tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to ensure smooth integration of CI/CD pipelines and efficient software deployment.

- Identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks, performance issues, and system outages.

- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost efficiency and performance scalability.

- Lead the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of systems, ensuring high availability and uptime.

- Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers, providing expertise on best practices and new technologies.

- Implement security best practices within the DevOps lifecycle, ensuring secure coding, deployment, and infrastructure management.

- Continuously monitor and evaluate new DevOps tools and technologies, integrating those that improve efficiency and performance.

- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 8+ years in DevOps or a similar role with a strong background in infrastructure and automation.

- Advanced experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

- Proficient in using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

- Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or similar tools.

- Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.

- Monitoring & Logging : Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.

- Experience with Git and version control best practices.

- Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills.
