About the RoleWe’re looking for an experiencedn8n Developerwith a strong background inPython-based automation, backend development, and workflow design . In this role, you’ll be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing complexn8n automation workflowsthat connect internal systems, SaaS tools, and APIs. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams — engineering, data, and operations — to streamline business processes, improve data flows, and enhance productivity through automation.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintainscalable n8n workflowsto automate business and technical processes. Developcustom n8n nodesusingJavaScript or TypeScriptwhen native integrations are not available. Integrate APIs, CRMs, databases, and internal tools usingRESTful APIs, webhooks, and OAuth2 . UsePythonto create external automation scripts, data transformation pipelines, and backend logic. Optimize and refactor existing workflows for reliability, maintainability, and performance. Manage deployment and scaling ofself-hosted n8n instancesusing Docker, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with DevOps and data teams to integrate n8n with databases, message queues, and monitoring tools. Troubleshoot, debug, and monitor workflows; implement robust error handling and recovery mechanisms. Maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, integrations, and automation logic. Stay updated on emerging tools and frameworks in workflow automation and low-code integration.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degreein Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of professional software development experience , with strong hands-on work inPython . 2+ years of hands-on experiencein designing, deploying, and maintaining workflows inn8n . Proven experience integrating systems viaAPIs ,webhooks , andOAuth2 authentication . Strong understanding ofdata formats(JSON, XML, CSV) and data transformation. Familiarity withDocker ,Linux , andcloud environments(AWS / GCP / Azure). Experience withdatabases(PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB). Proficiency in usingGit ,GitHub Actions , orGitLab CI/CDfor version control and deployment. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and documentation abilities.
