Eliminate everything but the essential - even beloved ideas of the founder.Translate objectives into measurable outcomes and ensure crystal clarity and accountability for everyone in the company.2) Align the People, ContinuouslyDesign a lean org with crystal-clear roles and success metricsSet weekly and quarterly reviews; keep everyone aligned towards prioritiesEnsure priorities remain priorities. Everything else is secondary3) Use Data to Drive DecisionsBuild live dashboards for financial, operational, product, and impact healthTrack leading indicators and intervene to keep them on track4) Solve Problems FastProactively identify and resolve issues that are blocking the achievement of objectivesResolve communication gaps and blockers between teamsLead problem-solving sessions that end with decisions, not discussions5) Build Scalable SystemsCreate simple, repeatable systems for execution, tracking, and communication that can scale 1000× without middle-management bloatLeverage AI, automation and SaaS tools effectively and only where it makes sense. Not out of FOMOContinuously eliminate roles, objectives, products, features and processes that don’t best serve the mission6) Own the Numbers (P&L & Shareholder Reporting)Own the P&L: revenue, margins, cash flow and ratiosRun monthly/quarterly closes with Finance; no surprisesDeliver board/shareholder updates: concise, candid, and insight-rich (progress, risks, decisions needed)Eligibility- Missionary, not mercenary. The mission and role must excite you enough to commit through good times and bad for a long term - 10–15 years’ experience of hands-on management or systems building - 3–5 years running the engine as a GM, Chief of Staff, Project Manager, or equivalent and owning P&L - Proven at scaling startups or complex systems with execution rhythms that don’t break under pressure - You understand every function (product, sales, ops, finance, people) and can unite specialists into one high-performing system - Proficient with collaboration, productivity, and AI tools, and skilled with MIS platforms like Zoho One or equivalents. - Must be a life-long learner with a growth mindset.
