Combining our unparalleled experience of over a decade in the software industry and global reach, we have grown with extensive capabilities across industry verticals.Job Title : QA Engineer - Manual & AutomationExperience Required : 4 to 6 YearsLocation : BangaloreEmployment Type : Full-TimeShift-EST TimingJob Overview : We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of QA best practices, coupled with practical knowledge of automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium and Playwright. A strong grasp of Java, JavaScript, OOPs, and API testing is essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and execute test cases for web and API-based applications.- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using manual and automated approaches.- Build, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts using Selenium and Playwright.- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure test coverage.- Identify, log, and track bugs through defect management tools.- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives in Agile/Scrum environments.- Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and methodologies.- Conduct API testing using Postman and REST Assured.- Write test reports and document test results effectivelyRequired Skills and Qualifications : - 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.- Strong understanding of QA fundamentals, testing life cycle, and defect management.- Experience in automation tools such as Selenium and Playwright.Proficient in programming/scripting languages : - Java and JavaScript.- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles.- Hands-on experience with TestNG, Maven, or similar frameworks.- Experience in API testing using Postman and REST Assured.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems, defect management software (e.g., Git, Azure Dev Ops).- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) : - Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms or containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Why Join Us?- Work with a collaborative and innovative team.- Opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and challenging projects.- Supportive environment for learning and career development.
