These are greatly facilitated by the strong industry-academia linkages, already established by the existing Apeejay institutions of higher learning in all disciplines being offered by the University.Job Description Position:Assistant Professor - Pharma Chemistry/ Medicinal Chemistry Department :Academics Location:Sohna, Palwal RoadSummary of Job : Teach Pharmaceutics / Pharma chemistry / Pharmacology for Undergraduate and Post graduate degree courses as per the University curriculum, evaluation and other academic / administrative activities.Job Responsibilities :1. Teaching and covering the curriculum as designed and outlined by the university by adhering to the rules and regulations 2. Creating, developing and implementing innovative teaching pedagogy for better and easy understanding to take industry related problems as practical teaching. 3. Monitoring and observing the students attendance, progress and assessments 4. Preparing various kinds of reports by evaluating and grading the students based on their assessment 5. Keeping in touch with current trends by reading the latest articles published in different magazines or other relevant literature and update his academic delivery accordingly and continuous upgradation by attending FDPs. 6. Plan and organize for the availability of different study materials and laboratory experiments. 7. To assist the students in the recruitment and also advise them regarding their career decisions 8. Should also continue with the research work in the field. He / She should be well-acquainted with and publish it. 9. Responsible for timely preparation and submission of the required budget plans 10. Responsible for Academic & administrative duties as per the task assigned by the Dean and organise events of SPS 11. To timely supervise and monitor on-going laboratory sessions / internships and the research work 12. Responsible for implementing the updated guidelines time to time in order to raise the standards of the curriculum. 13. Should be technically savvy and Moodle friendly.Job Knowledge (Prerequisites)Knowledge of Pharmachemistry / Pharmaceutics and related subjects for both undergraduate and postgraduate students of a University or a higher education institutions including colleges under a recognized University.Skill Set :Excellent communication skills (both verbal & written) Teaching, guiding, and training skillsEducation Qualification : M.Pharm (Pharmachemistry/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmacology )with minimum 60% of Marks and Ph.D. (Preferred) 2 years teaching experienceExperiences: 3 to 5 years including academic, research and industrial experience.
