Music Streaming Business Manager

Key Objectives of the RoleDrivedigital audio streaming revenue generationin line with allocated streaming and licensing targets. Grow themarket share of Times Music and its sub-cataloguesacross Indian digital services by ensuring visibility through effective content programming, promotions, marketing initiatives, and editorial activities. Manage and strengthenrelationships with Indian digital music streaming platforms Identify and capitalize onnew revenue streamsacross the digital ecosystem.Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Achieve monthly and annualdigital streaming revenue targetsby pitching and promoting Times Music’s catalogue & new releases, bestsellers, and festival content to music streaming and OTT platforms. Ensureplaylist placementsof top-performing tracks and new releases across major Indian languages. Build and maintainstrong partnershipswith editorial and partner teams across all digital services. Track and analyzeperformance metricsregularly, sharing insights with internal teams and sub-licensors. Monitorchart positions and genre performanceof new releases across platforms. Track monthly income against targets and ensure timely reporting. Stay abreast ofindustry trendsin the domestic Indian music market. Pursuebusiness development opportunities, including new digital store/service launches for the Times Music catalogue. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations for new releases and maximize placements in playlists, push notifications, and marketing promotions. Share amonthly MISwith key stakeholders covering market share, streams, revenue, content performance, and other critical details. Translate data and analytics intoactionable sales insights. Maintain a clearsales pipelineand present a monthly release schedule to digital partners. Enhance professional knowledge through activenetworking and engagementwith digital streaming partners.Key Skills Required Proven experience of 3 years to 5 years inbusiness development and revenue generationwithin the digital or music sector. Strong passion for music with a deep understanding ofkey genres and regional languages. Persuasive communicator with a natural flair forrelationship management. Creative thinker and problem solverwith sound business acumen. Strong understanding of thedigital ecosystemand emerging entertainment services/apps. Excellentinterpersonal, verbal, and written communicationskills. Proficiency in interpretingdata, analytics, and industry trends. Strongpresentation, account management, and negotiationskills.
