Role Overview :

InfraBeat Technologies is seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP ABAP Consultant to join our growing team in Noida. As an SAP ABAP Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ABAP solutions within the SAP environment, primarily focusing on the S/4HANA platform. You will work closely with functional consultants, business users, and other technical team members to deliver robust and efficient solutions that meet business requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of ABAP development principles, experience with S/4HANA technologies, and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities :

Development and Implementation :

- Design, develop, and implement ABAP RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) objects based on functional and technical specifications.

- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented ABAP code.

- Perform unit testing and support integration testing of developed objects.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ABAP development.

S/4HANA Expertise :

- Utilize ABAP on HANA concepts, including AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) and CDS Views (Core Data Services), to optimize performance and leverage HANA capabilities.

- Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementations or upgrades, contributing to the technical aspects of the project.

- Stay updated on the latest SAP S/4HANA features and functionalities relevant to ABAP development.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs. -

- Communicate effectively with business users to gather requirements and provide updates on development progress.

- Collaborate with other technical team members, including BASIS and other developers, to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

Technical Skills :

- Develop and maintain interfaces with external systems using various technologies (e.g., IDoc, BAPI, ALE, Web Services).

- Work on enhancements using User Exits, Customer Exits, and BAdIs to meet specific business needs.

- Design and develop custom forms using SAPscript or SmartForms/Adobe Forms.

- Develop and implement workflows using SAP Workflow.

- Utilize SAP Fiori and OData services for modern UI development (preferred).

- Work with Webdynpro for ABAP development (preferred).

Project Involvement :

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. -

- Contribute to the creation of technical specifications and design documents.

- Adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Problem Solving and Analysis :

- Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

- Identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.

Skills Required :

Mandatory :

- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Proven experience working with ABAP RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

- Minimum of 1 full end-to-end SAP implementation experience.

- Strong knowledge and practical experience with ABAP on HANA, AMDP, and CDS views.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Good analytical skills and the ability to understand functional and technical specifications.

- Willingness to travel within and outside India as per project requirements.

Preferred :

- SAP S/4HANA certification in a relevant module (e.g., FI, MM, SD) or at least 1 year of hands-on experience on the SAP S/4HANA platform.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrades or migrations.

- Experience with additional SAP technologies such as SAP Fiori, OData, Webdynpro, Workflow, and Webservices.
