Job Overview

The Business Analyst - Finance position at Ramco Systems offers a Full-Time, Mid-Level role based in Chennai. The role is integral to our ERP project implementations, focusing on financial modules. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business needs.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst specializing in finance modules within ERP systems is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance modules is required for effective project contributions.
  • Proficiency in requirement gathering and documenting detailed business requirements is necessary for the role.
  • Solid understanding of financial processes and concepts to ensure effective collaboration with finance teams.
  • Ability to analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement with effective solutions.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and applications for successful task completion.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and document requirements accurately.
  • Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing business needs.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for finance processes.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure requirements are accurately captured.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of ERP financial modules to enhance business operations.
  • Participate in system testing and validation procedures to ensure system effectiveness and reliability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues within finance modules and recommend viable solutions.
  • Provide training and support to users to enhance their understanding and utilization of ERP systems.
  • Prepare reports and analysis for management to assist in decision-making processes.
  • Evaluate and improve existing business processes with a focus on efficiency and compliance.
