About the Role :

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP Basis Consultant to join our growing team in Pune. In this critical role, you will play a key part in the successful implementation and support of SAP Basis systems, with a strong focus on S/4HANA conversions and brownfield projects.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the SAP landscape.

Responsibilities :

S/4HANA Conversion & Brownfield Projects :

- Lead and participate in S/4HANA conversion and brownfield projects, ensuring smooth transitions.

- Perform pre-conversion assessments, system preparation, and post-conversion validations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to S/4HANA conversions and upgrades.

SAP Basis Administration :

- Perform day-to-day SAP Basis administration tasks, including system monitoring, performance tuning, and user administration.

- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and components.

- Manage system landscapes, including development, quality assurance, and production environments.

- Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions.

- Ensure system security and compliance with industry best practices.

Problem Resolution :

- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to SAP Basis systems.

- Provide timely and effective support to end-users and application teams.

Project Management :

- Contribute to project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Technical Documentation : Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of all technical procedures and configurations.

Qualifications :

Essential :

- 9+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration.

- Strong experience in S/4HANA conversions and brownfield projects.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis components (e.g., OS/DB, NetWeaver, SAP HANA).

- Experience with SAP HANA administration and performance tuning.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable :

- Experience with SAP Solution Manager.

- Experience with cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Cloud). SAP Basis certifications.
