Sp3D Piping Designer


Job Location: Gurgaon


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SP3D Piping Designer to join our designing. As a Piping Designer, you will play a crucial role in the design and layout of piping systems within power plant facilities. Your expertise in SP3D software, knowledge of industry standards, and attention to detail will contribute to the successful execution of power plant projects.

Primary Responsibility:

  • Utilize SP3D software to create detailed 3D piping models.
  • Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and plans for power plant projects.
  • Ensure that piping designs comply with industry codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers to select appropriate piping materials based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of material take-offs and procurement documents.
  • Work closely with other design disciplines (structural, electrical, instrumentation, etc.) to ensure proper integration of piping systems.
  • Collaborate with the project team to resolve design issues and provide technical support.
  • Review and check piping designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate as-built drawings and documentation for piping systems.
  • Ensure that piping designs adhere to safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Piping Designer, with a minimum of 08+ years of experience in power plant/oil/Gas/Chemicals/Petrochemical projects is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using SP3D software for 3D piping design.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design tools is beneficial.
  • Good knowledge of piping codes and standards, including ASME B31.1, B31.3, and applicable international codes.
