We're Hiring: Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Hospitality & Hotels for IndySmart Group
- IndySmart Group is seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and scale our fast-growing Hospitality and Hotel Division.
- Currently operating niche hotels in Kolkata, Goa, Bangalore, and Mandarmani, we have an ambitious expansion plan to open six more hotels across India over the next 12 months. We are looking for a visionary leader who can drive operational excellence, innovation, and growth across all properties.
Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the Hospitality Division at Indismart Group. The COO will be responsible for overseeing business operations, strategic planning, financial management, and budgeting, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across all hotels and hospitality assets within the group, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
- Lead strategic planning, business development, and long-term growth initiatives for the Hospitality Division.
- Drive operational excellence through performance metrics, SOP compliance, and guest satisfaction benchmarks.
- Manage P&L, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring strong financial health and cost optimization.
- Strengthen the group's brand positioning through innovation, service quality, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies for revenue growth, including pricing, occupancy optimization, and F&B -operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior hotel leadership teams across properties.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the executive team on expansion plans, partnerships, and investments.
Who Should Apply:
- A seasoned hospitality leader with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the hotel industry.
- Proven track record in senior leadership roles such as General Manager, Area Director, or COO within a medium-sized hotel group.
- Demonstrated success in hotel operations, brand building, service excellence, and revenue management.
- Strong understanding of both strategic and hands-on operational leadership in hospitality environments.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong business planning and operations management skills.
- Deep expertise in finance, budgeting, and cost control.
- Analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
- Knowledge of hospitality tech platforms, systems, and industry trends.
