About the roleThis is an exciting opportunity to be on Rippling’s Enterprise Implementation team. At Rippling, implementation drives company growth and product adoption among our customers. As a Data Specialist on the Enterprise Implementation Team, you will help our largest and most nuanced customers set up their accounts through various imports and tasks while managing technical aspects of the data migration process and contributing to product improvements.
Implementation is tough work and requires a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Your role will help our customers complete some of the most cumbersome parts of the project (like gathering employee data and manipulating into the required format for import). This provides enormous value not just to our customers, but also the implementation team that you will support.
What you will do- Partner with the Implementation Team and manage your own projects through JIRA, ensuring timely and effective communication and execution.
- Work with various data formats and use tools like Google Sheets to manage the migration of payroll and other data onto the Rippling platform. Assist with additional data migration and transformation tasks as needed.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process and product improvements, focusing on automation and enhanced features to better serve the customer base.
- Take ownership of documentation related to processes and product enhancements, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for the team.
- Validate and QA complex sets of data to ensure data accuracy and customer accounts are properly set up.
- Help the organization scale and grow with the business.
- At least 2 years of experience in a data role at a tech company.
- Demonstrated proficiency of Google Sheets, Jira, Salesforce.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with Implementation, cross-functional teams and customers.
- Great project management skills to lead, care about product ownership, an outstanding customer-centric mindset, and solving problems for our customers.
- A proactive mindset with a keen attention to detail to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the customer experience.
- Experience working with data migration, particularly payroll and HR-related data.
- Experience in a client facing role is a plus.
- Experience with python, scripting is a plus.
Note: This role requires you to work in the US Shift (EST/CST/PST).
