We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Modeller to join our growing data team.


In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing robust and scalable data models that effectively capture and represent business information.


You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into optimal data structures.


Key Responsibilities :


- Design, develop, and document conceptual, logical, and physical data models using industry-standard methodologies (e., Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault).


- Translate business requirements into effective data structures, considering performance, scalability, and maintainability.


- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, including data definitions, data types, and data quality rules.


- Collaborate with data engineers to ensure seamless integration of data models with data pipelines and data warehouses.


- Define and implement data quality standards and best practices.


- Identify and resolve data quality issues, such as data inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing values.


- Contribute to the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures.


- Analyze data sources, identify data dependencies, and understand data relationships.


- Conduct data profiling and data quality assessments.


- Explore and analyze data to identify potential insights and opportunities.


- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


- Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.


- Participate in design reviews and other collaborative activities.


- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data modeling techniques, technologies, and best practices.


- Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve data modeling processes and efficiency.


Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Experience in data modeling and design.


- Strong understanding of data modeling methodologies.


- Proficiency in data modeling tools (Erwin, PowerDesigner, SQL Developer).


- Strong SQL skills, including experience with data warehousing and data lake technologies.


- Experience with data integration and ETL/ELT processes.


- Experience with data governance and data quality best practices.


- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.


Preferred Skills & Qualifications :


- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).


- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).


- Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools.


- Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
