What success looks like in this role:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator, focusing on managing multiple database platforms. Proficiency in designing, deploying, and maintaining relational and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security management. Strong understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and SQL query optimization techniques. Experience working with cloud-based database services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Amazon RDS) and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles are desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work in a cross-functional team environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., MCDBA or Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate) is a plus.You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
