Business Analyst Data & Analytics

Key Responsibilities :

- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document analytics and reporting requirements.

- Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate solution approaches.

- Collaborate with capability teams to identify source systems, datasets, and tables required for analytics use cases.

- Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions.

- Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Design Documents (FD) in collaboration with data modelers and data engineers.

- Perform Functional Unit Testing (FUT) to validate developed solutions.

- Support business teams in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless communication.

- Support deployment of technical solutions into production environments.

- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.

- Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, and performance, particularly within Snowflake environments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, BI developers, and other analysts.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or business analysis roles.

- Strong understanding of supply chain business processes.

- Proven experience in analytics project implementation.

- Exposure to SAP ERP systems (ECC or S/4HANA).

- Knowledge of data modeling concepts (HANA modeling is an advantage).

- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with BI reporting tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
