Data Security Specialist/Senior Manager

As a Data Security Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and securing the organization's data through robust Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) systems.

You will be tasked with analyzing data flows, maintaining data security protocols, and ensuring compliance with IS/IT policies.

Job Requirements :

Data Security Management :

- Hands-on experience in handling, maintaining, and operating Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM).

- Proficiency in Data Flow Analysis (DFA) and Data Flow Maintenance (DFM).

- Review alerts to identify and manage security incidents effectively.

Technical Knowledge :

- Deep understanding of email technologies, email flow, and other data flow channels.

- Expertise in endpoint DLP, network DLP, and email DLP.

- Familiarity with various databases, including MSSQL and SQL.

Incident Management :

- Report, escalate, and ensure closure of security alerts and incidents.

- Analyze alert data to develop actionable rules and policies.

- Fine-tune existing rules and policies to reduce false positives.

Operations and Reporting :

- Perform Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, including regular system health checks.

- Propose, present, and implement Service Improvement Plans.

- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including KPI/KRI reporting.

- Prepare and present periodic reports at various organizational levels, including the Enterprise Risk Team.

Compliance and Audit :

- Ensure the implementation of IS/IT policies and represent the organization in various audits.

- Manage team, project, and vendor relationships effectively.

Skills :

Communication : Strong oral and written communication skills.

Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Tools Expertise : Proficient in tools like Forcepoint DLP, Symantec DLP, and Imperva DAM.

Judgment : Ability to exercise excellent judgment in data analysis and incident management.

Educational Qualification :

Degree : Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.

Certifications (Preferred) : CISM, ITIL Masters, ISO certifications, Project Management
