What You’ll OwnCreate and develop women’s wear collections (western, casual, evening, and ethnic fusion) from concept sketches to final samples.Study seasonal trends in fabrics, colors, and silhouettes, and blend global styles with Indian traditions.Plan seasonal ranges in line with brand style, sales goals, and budgets.Oversee the sampling process from first prototype to final approved sample, ensuring quality and timely delivery.Work closely with sales, design, buying, and production teams to make sure designs match market needs.Source fabrics, trims, and accessories from suppliers for ongoing and new projects.Ensure timely delivery of the samples, without compromising on standard quality and decided budget parameters.Experiment with fresh design ideas that combine traditional Indian wear with modern styles.Set and follow clear processes for design to keep work efficient and high quality.Ensure seasonal originality of the collection to be balanced.Must-Haves3–5 years’ professional experience in women’s wear design (NIFT / Pearl Academy graduates preferred)Proven ability to manage the complete design process from concept to final garment.Strong portfolio showcasing both ethnic and western/fusion wear.Experience translating market and sales insights into commercially successful designs.Proficiency in CAD / computer-aided pattern making, Illustrator, Photoshop.Strong leadership skills to guide design and sampling teams to achieve desired results in a given time frame and budget.Exceptional eye for detail, color, silhouette, and fabric combinations.Nice-to-HavesPrior experience blending traditional Indian wear with modern, global fashion trends.Exposure to both domestic and international fashion markets.LogisticsLocation: Surat HQType: Full-time employeeStart Date: ASAP.
