Job Overview: As a Senior Engineer specializing in automotive technology which includes dash camera, hardwire cable kit, car chargers etc. at CPPlus, you will be a key member of our product development team. Leveraging your expertise in hardware and software engineering, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and optimizing our dash camera products to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Development:
  • Testing of products in details, prepare testing report, conduct market research etc.
  • Lead the design, development, and testing of dash camera and its related hardware, firmware, ensuring adherence to product specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, industrial design, and manufacturing to translate product requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Conduct proper practical test on products to create a test report for submission to management.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge of automotive products features, technologies included in same.
  1. Technology Innovation:
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in dash camera technology, and proactively explore opportunities for innovation and differentiation.
  • Drive technology roadmap and architecture decisions, evaluating trade-offs between performance, cost, and time-to-market to deliver competitive products.



  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering teams to integrate hardware and software components, resolve technical issues, and achieve seamless product integration.
  • Work closely with product management and marketing teams to provide technical expertise and support for product roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategy.
  1. Documentation and Communication:
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and engineering reports to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure product traceability.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders including internal teams, external partners, and customers, providing updates on project status, technical challenges, and recommendations for resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • Diploma in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware and software engineering, with a focus on automotive cameras/dash camera and other automotive products and technology.
  • Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee), CAN protocol and security standards (e.g., AES encryption, TLS/SSL).
  • Knowledge of SDK, API integration is an added advantage.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
