Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Trainer with 10+ years of expertise in Injection Moulding and various moulding processes for the Medical Devices industry. The trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training, upskilling professionals and fresh graduates, and ensuring compliance with medical device manufacturing standards (ISO 13485, FDA, GMP). The ideal candidate should have hands-on industry experience, strong process knowledge, and the ability to train on both theoretical concepts and practical applications in moulding technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs on Injection Moulding, Blow Moulding, Compression Moulding, and related moulding techniques used in medical device manufacturing.
  • Provide hands-on demonstrations on moulding machines, process optimization, tooling, and part quality control.
  • Train participants on mould design, validation protocols, cleanroom operations, and regulatory requirements (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, GMP).
  • Conduct sessions on moulding defects, troubleshooting techniques, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Guide trainees on material selection (thermoplastics, elastomers, bio-compatible materials) suitable for medical devices.
  • Support the development of SOPs, work instructions, and training manuals for moulding processes.
  • Mentor engineers, operators, and technicians in achieving zero-defect manufacturing and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments, projects, and case studies.
  • Stay updated with emerging moulding technologies (micro-moulding, multi-shot moulding, insert moulding) and incorporate them into training.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance, validation, and regulatory teams to ensure compliance-driven training delivery.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Tool & Die, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in Injection Moulding and other moulding processes, preferably in the Medical Devices / Healthcare / Pharma industry.
  • Strong knowledge of moulding machines (Arburg, Engel, Husky, etc.), process validation, and tooling.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, GMP, FDA, and CE regulations related to moulding and device manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in training, mentoring, or leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and people skills.
